"We had a wonderful time at Star Mesa cabin. It suited us perfectly. The privacy and beauty really set this place apart. Communication was immediate and amenities were everything you enjoy at home. For us it was located just far enough out of town to get away from the congestion and noise but close enough to drive in for groceries or a nice dinner without much hassle. We will absolutely book this cabin again!"

"Beautiful riverfront property with fantastic views! The home is very recently updated and nicely decorated. Without a doubt the best styling I have ever seen in a vacation rental. I spent a lot of time in the house or on the deck recovering from a knee surgery while the rest of the group fished. The mud room/workout room was a pleasant surprise and perfect spot for my physical therapy. The walk in shower in the master suite was also really nice with my limited mobility. "We had a great time at this VRBO- it was super close to Salida and about an hour outside of Cañon City which meant we had plenty to do! The decor was beautiful and very well maintained. I’d say the only drawback was that we had some difficulty sleeping with the unfamiliar sounds of the road nearby and the heater kicking on/off. The flood lights near the entrance were required to stay on at all times and the coverings on the door were sheer so light was still let into the space. Other than that...

The new owners were working daily on improvements .The closest dining is in salida which is about 15 minutes from the property."
