River's Edge Cabin, LLC

River's Edge Cabin, LLC

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely stay and great hosts, although what appears to be the master bedroom (larger and closer to a bathroom) is in the basement. Well-stocked kitchen and a comfortable space. It is a bit closer to the main road than we anticipated, but overall it was a great weekend. We loved the House on the Rock, so if you have time, don't miss it!"

"I take my kids to this cabin annually for our kayak trip on the Kickapoo. It works well for us as it sleeps 10, is close to the kayak rentals and within walking distance to the Rockton Bar. The host is very easy to work with and lives right next door. So, he can respond quickly if we need something. He also provides firewood for a reasonable fee. The kids love staying there and look forward to this trip each year."

Charming secluded 2-bedroom cabin with WiFi, AC in peaceful Richland Center

"THIS CABIN IS EVERYTHING. From the cleanliness, to the views and the vibes, this cabin had everything you would need and then some. When you're heading up the the last .25 mile to the cabin, and you see the address, keep RIGHT. It will say you've arrived, and the address number is on the left, but keep right, and just keep going right, and you'll be there in 2 minutes. It was confusing at first, but it's actually super easy. Also, the privacy was next level. We cant wait to go back.."

"This home is very clean inside and out. A real nice touch when we arrived was the air conditioning on and working very well when we arrived on a very muggy day"

"A wonderful getaway on a quiet country road. House was very clean and very, very well-equipped. Wildcat Mountain State Park was only 11 minutes away, and many of the Driftless Area other parks and historical attractions were within easy day trips. Only complaint is that our stay was too short."

Spacious Cabin on the Wisconsin River!

Spacious Cabin on the Wisconsin River!

10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay at the Wild River Lodge. The hosts were great. They walked us through the house and were easy to contact if issues arose. Our stay included 3 couples and 11 children (aged 5 to 21). Everyone had something to do. The pool table in the basement was a hit. There were two larger tables on the upper level and one on the lower level for games and eating. The beds were comfortable, and extra linens were easy to find for additional beds. Our stay was in late July, and we had a few 100-degree days. The air conditioner kept up, and all levels of the house were comfortable. As expected, the temperature varies several degrees between the upper and lower levels of the house. The kitchen had lots of small appliances, pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. The only thing we often ran out of was kitchen towels, even with frequent laundry. The outside space was beautiful. There was lots of room in the yard for games, and plenty of patio furniture for everyone. We were able to kayak across a portion of the river to a sandbar island. There is a current in the river, so swimming across wouldn't be advised. The water was great. We enjoyed many afternoons sitting in the sand and playing in the river. There are two nearby towns with access to groceries and any essential your left behind. We would love to come back for another family trip soon. When we do, we hope to enjoy the nearby winery. The town of Richland Center also has a drive-in movie theater tha"
