“We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn.”

“Brilliant location for Poole Quay. Family room spacious, quiet and clean. Disappointing there was no view out of windows not even a glimpse as totally blocked by white permanent shuttering. I don't care if the view is not great but too see the sky would be good. I'm sure there is good reason why shuttered as doesn't make sense otherwise. If the room hadn't have been so spacious, we would have felt quite claustrophobic. Staff very friendly. A warm welcome upon arrival and at breakfast. Cooked……

“Excellent location, fantastic staff however as it's and old building floors creek, was very noisey. I wouldn't return as I prefer more Modern hotel, bed small, could hardly move in bathroom and tv in a ridiculous location. Breakfast average, pool small. Was very clean. ”

“hotel is dated, windows, glass is literally falling outta rotting wooden frames, plumbing is noisy, full of air blocks, and all main staircases are outdated and creaky ! showers are hit and miss with no pressure in some whilst others are dangerously hot !”

“Not really 4 star by its standards. If not for the amazing view this hotel could not command the prices that it does. restaurant menu very limited, staff in restaurant do not attend very promptly to tyhe tables. Decor is tired, room OK but bathroom poor.”

“The hotel had a nice indoor pool, a good breakfast and the staff were all helpful and friendly. It’s a short walk to the seafront and into town. Our room was in the lodge - a separate building but adjacent to main hotel, all clean and a decent sized room. Small print stuff…Our parking was chargeable but I think I read somewhere that it’s free if you book directly with the hotel. We also paid a £50 refundable deposit per room per night.”
