"Overall, this hotel was just right for our needs for a two-night stay in Reykyavik. The room was minimalistic but roomy enough for a family of 4, I liked the heavy curtains that kept the light out as it was still daylight at midnight. I would have appreciated a night lamp, and an outlet next to the bed so I can charge my phone near me as opposed to having to walk to the other side of the room to switch off the light/put my phone to charge. The bathroom was functional and just fine, it had a hairdryer as well. The coffee maker only worked if someone was pushing the button continuously while the coffee was being made, and the lid of the thrashcan wouldn't open with the foot pedal, it had to be opened manually. While the room was OK, there was a bad smell upon entry into the building, it smelled like bad fish, it seemed to be coming from some thrashbags piled up on the right side of the entrance (wish that someone took those outside but there is no staff at the property that you could talk to really, checkin and checkout are all online). It is not a luxury stay but the room was clean, the bed was great and although no breakfast on site, there are grocery stores and restaurants nearby."

"Overall nice and clean hotel. Very modern and staff was nice. We originally booked atrium facing room, downside was that we got an “upgrade” which didn’t feel like one because the noise from the construction next door was very loud. The room size was nice however. We were told construction work was starting at 9am but it actually started at 8am. We didn’t get much sleep and it was the last leg of our trip. Besides that…. The lobby was very nice and the location is convenient. It was only a 5 min drive to the main town."

"Love the style of this hotel. We actually got an unexpected room… it was the top floor so the ceiling was actually slanted as it was the roof of the building. We hit our head a few times, but it was so unique for us that we didn’t mind. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Breakfast the next morning was the best we’ve had and was included in our stay. We loved the variety. Parking was right in front of the building as well and easy to access. Overall would stay again!"
