“Address given to the property is way off. We got lost and took us awhile asking some people 10 km away. But, the house is unique with many cool features.”

“Our stay was excellent. The house was immaculate upon arrival, check-in was simple, and the kitchen had salt, pepper, oil, and two bottles of wine. Instructions are provided to guide you through usage of the hot pool and radiant floor heating. We were in house 2, which had a fire pit as well. For those who want to grill, we noticed a propane grill in the utility room on our last day. This was an exceptional stay with a great view and very responsive host. If we can come back, we will.”

“The property locates on a quiet farm with mountain views. The rooms are spacious and clean, decorated with good taste. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed cooking our own dinner and sitting on the deck outside, waiting to see the northern light. Would definitely come back if we have a chance to visit the area again.”

“Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Stunningly beautiful property with amazing views. Very clean home and well stocked. VRBO advertised as 5 bedroom home which is why we booked it. Home only has 3 bedrooms. This resulted in sharing of sleeping accommodations which we had not anticipated at all. VRBO needs to correct the listing to reflect accuracy. If you don’t mind squeezing in, the house, the views and the property are remarkable.”

“Marco was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to requests. He provided some excellent options for additional sites to see/do in Iceland. The place was nice, roomy and comfortable/cozy for the 7 of us and the home had plenty of accessories/was very well equipped, allowing us the freedom to cook and enjoy our meals. Having two parking spots at the home was a bonus as well. Would definitely stay there again when we go back to Iceland.”

“Great stay overall—clean property, impeccable location, and truly luxury views.A few minor notes: the TV setup was confusing (multiple remotes, unclear instructions). The frying pans are worn/peeling and could use an upgrade. We also found some clothing left in the closets.There are a couple small maintenance items—the dishwasher cabinet’s top wood piece is broken, and some shades are damaged but can be adjusted manually. Also, the listing mentions a hot tub, but there isn’t one.Nothing major,...

“We loved this house - the location during lupin season is absolutely stunning. Housewas clean and well stocked with cooking utensils. As a family of four, we found it a perfect launch pad for day trips to Reykjavik and short excursions into the countryside for hiking (side note - Hugofloss is only 20 minutes away and is a perfect waterfall hike for kids. We were the only ones on the trail!). I would stay here again (and again). Note that there are quite a few stairs to get to the front door....
