“Staff greeted us at the door. Room was super clean and great gas fireplace in the Scottish room! If we are ever near here, we will stay again. Plus, great breakfast and evening snack.”

Just be sure you can do stairs because the stairs up to the room were kind of steep and long. Plus they were outside so if the weather is bad it could be a problem. But it was so much better than a stuffy hotel room. ”

Amenities were plentiful and robust, and Peggy had plenty of lovely recommendations for activities in the area. “Loved all the history and tour at check in. Restaurants and shops within walking distance and quaint main street area. Bed was very comfortable and slept great. Building needs some repairs and upkeep but it was built in the 1880's and this was part of the charm for us.”
