"This place was a gem. It was spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable, and had all of the amenities one might need. We enjoyed the quiet and beautiful area it was located in. Still conveniently located to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor but a quiet and peaceful setting to relax in after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. "

"You could not ask for a better VRBO location in the Birch Harbor area. Home is situated at the intersection of a gas station; great local family restaurants and best ice cream in town - and, just a 15 minute walk (8 min bike ride) to Acadia Park loop. Most important, VRBO Host, Danielle, is super kind, helpful and very likable! As first time visitors in the area, we could not have picked a better, cleaner, easy to get to home. "If you are going to Bar Harbor I highly recommend staying here. The location was relaxing and quiet, town is about 10 minutes away. The book of information on the table was fantastic. Everything that we needed was available to make our hiking trip enjoyable. The owners Gayle & Rob are fantastic and very knowledgeable. I am so glad that we skipped the hotel stay and enjoyed their place. "

"Quiet and comfortable apartment for a couple, conveniently located just a few minutes from the main Acadia Visitors Center. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals when you aren’t dining in Bar Harbor. We stayed a full week which was long enough to hit the Acadia highlights. Host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll book this VRBO again if we return to Acadia."

"We can’t say enough great things about the property. It’s perfectly located and well-appointed. It works very well for a family with kids of various ages. High-end finishes from the kitchens and bathrooms to comfy beds and bedding. Great communication with the property manager. They are extremely quick to respond. Don’t hesitate. "The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park."

"The uniqueness of the property was very inviting. Everything about the stay was very comfortable and it's a very quiet location.I was able to go for a nature walk just .1 miles away and bike to a beach that was 2.4 miles away. It was a bit of a distance from Bar Harbor but a lovely scenic drive to get there and back. Alan was a wonderful host and we did a lovely campfire one of the evenings."
