Welcome to your private, dream home in the heart of San Marco/Jacksonville! Nestled in a centrally located, quiet neighborhood this cozy historic cottage-style home is 10 min. to everything downtown Jax has to offer. The recently updated space offers all the comforts of home with all the amenities one could need: a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, garment steamer/iron, washer/dryer, grill, outdoor fire pit and games, etc. A stay in my house will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!
The space
Kids and adults will all enjoy staying in my three bedroom one bathroom house. It's a super relaxed atmosphere with everything you'll need. There is enough room for everyone to hang out together in the living room or to have some space of their own in the expansive kitchen or outside on the front porch or backyard. It's time to sit back, relax and enjoy your stay in fabulous San Marco!
- Walking & biking distance to downtown San Marco & Downtown Jacksonville
- Take a stroll each night on the San Marco Riverwalk and see dolphins playing in the St. John's River
- Host lives in this home the majority of the year, so you will enjoy cooking and using the many appliances and amenities provided
In my home you will enjoy:
- Fully equipped fully stocked kitchen. There are several appliances for your convenience such a large refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, kettle and French press coffee maker, dishwasher, blender, air fryer, and instant pot. Dishes, utensils,
pots, pans, and bakeware are also provided.
- Mini bar area stocked with wine glasses, wine bottle opener, martini glasses, champagne flutes, whiskey glasses and rocks glasses
- The Master bedroom with a king size bed, a giant mirror, spacious vanity with lighting, and a closet
- The second bedroom offers a full size bed, secretary desk with clothing storage, a rolling chair, a full mirror, and a freestanding wardrobe to hang clothes
- The bathroom has a shower and bath. The shower has a fluoride and heavy metal filter. Extra towels are stored in the cubby next to the bathroom. Extra toilet paper will be provided for your convenience.
- The dining room is in the entrance of the home with a round table that can seat 4-6 guests (2 extra chairs are in the office closet)
- Board games and cards are available and kept below the mini bar area
- The washer and dryer are in the kitchen and may be used as needed. Iron and a garment steamer are available for use as well.
- The backyard offers plenty of space and privacy and comes with seating, garden lights (these can be plugged in next to the shed) a propane grill, fire pit, a chaise lounge, badminton, and other games.
- The front porch offers a cozy spot to watch the sunset or drink your coffee in the morning
- The driveway is long and has ample parking for 2-3 cars
- Indoors has 2 HEPA air filters & a dehumidifier (when extra humid it will need to be emptied daily)
Just to note my home is kid friendly (but not childproof).
Please note:
PARTIES ARE NOT PERMITTED (including bachelorette or bachelor parties) in or outside the home. Only the number of guests specified in your reservation are permitted to stay at the home. I live in a quiet family neighborhood so to be respectful to our neighbors, outside voices and activity should wrap up at 10 p.m. weekdays and 12 a.m. weekends.
NO SMOKING anything inside any part of the house. There is an ashtray in the backyard and side yard and it's very comfortable out there.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole house. There is also a private back yard. There is a shed out back that you will not be permitted to access.
Other things to note
Some pets will be considered. Please provide breed and temperament details.
NO FLUSHING ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER! The house is 100 years old and the pipes will not be able to handle anything other than toilet paper. Bags will be provided so you may throw away tampons, pads, baby wipes, etc in the trash can next to the toilet.
If anything goes wrong in the house please note it may be several days or more until maintenance can come fix it, so please take this seriously and respect the premises.
The fireplace is NOT to be used. It's been stuffed with insulation to keep the home warm through the winter.
