My home is in the heart of Jamestown island. Walking distance to the beach, marina, restaurants, market, shops, and the Newport ferry. We use top notch cleaning, which people often compliment. When you stay here you will occupy the Private 3rd floor, so you must be able to climb two sets of stairs, and carry your own luggage. King bed, bath, and sitting room. I'll be home to greet you and get you oriented. You are free to enjoy sitting at the pond. Mini fridge, Microwave, toaster, coffee, fruit and treats to start and end your day! Continental breakfast provided. We have earned a 5 star rating, and want to stay that way by making your visit safe and special, so let me know if you are celebrating a happy time. I also have a one bedroom apartment available on the first floor. Please note there are no pets allowed, and smoking or vaping on the property is prohibited.

hello connie / frank enjoyed our one night stay at your home on saturday / sunday.......and what a great way to end our time away for our 40th anniversary donna was impressed with your attention to detail.......and wanted me to mention that we appreciated the bottle of wine (she forgot to mention) of course you went above and beyond giving us a car wash ....haha your treats were delish / and your tips quite helpful in deciding what to do with our limited time in the area ......and as you know beech worked out better than expected we both felt like we could be friends with both of you ......just nice folks we are glad we got to meet 'til next time david (and donna)

Delightful Jamestown Visit
We had the opportunity to stay for an overnight Friday into Saturday at Connie's home. What an accommodating hostess! Connie's unit was absolutely spotless and her attention to her guest's accommodations was second to none. Connie provided fresh bakery items and a complimentary bottle of wine. Midwest hospitality at its finest!! The property is within walking distance to Jamestown's quaint downtown area and we took full advantage of the location by making a reservation at a local restaurant and walking down the street. Off street parking also a bonus. I would highly recommend checking out Connie's property for your stay in Jamestown.

Great Anniversary!
We stayed in the 3rd floor suite on 13-15 Aug. After booking we received full details from Connie on parking, arrival times, contact info and local restaurant information. Everything we needed to prepare for our stay. When we arrived, we were met by Connie and Frank who are extremely friendly and gracious hosts. The accommodations were exactly as listed/pictured, flawlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were homemade muffins, scones, and cookies along with chocolates and a snack basket. The mini fridge was well stocked with water, OJ, fruit etc. and even a bottle of their wine in the bedroom. We immediately could tell that they take great pride in providing you with the best possible experience as in addition to the goodies already mentioned, Connie made us a special plate of chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. The following day she even went out of her way to buy a couple of champagne glasses when she realized she had none at the house (we had mentioned earlier we had brought plastic cups!) The restaurants, shops, beach, and ferry are all within a few minutes walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and our conversations with Connie and Frank. We will definitely return and would recommend as a place to stay. Connie and Frank thank you again for everything.

A Lovely Jamestown Weekend!
Connie and Frank were most welcoming during our stay at Jamestown! Since it was our first trip to this charming little island, they provided us with a ton of helpful information about the area from restaurants, to transpo, to points of interest. Beavertail State Park being such a highlight that it became the sight of our engagement! After learning that my partner and I were engaged, Connie took it upon herself to make our stay feel extra special and we will never forget our wonderful stay in her adorable home. Her home baked cookies were stellar and if you're nice maybe you'll even get a little something from the test kitchen. ; ) We would definitely come back for a stay at Frank and Connies!

Connie and Frank are friendly hosts and offer cmfortable and clean lodging on the 3rd floor of their home. Great restaurants are just steps away on main street Narragansett Ave. The ferry to Newport is just a few blocks away. Highly recommended hosts and lodging. We had a great 3-night stay.

Perfect Stay
We stayed in the 3rd floor suite and it was very comfortable. The unit was impeccably clean. Connie is a gracious hostess and pays attention to every detail- from her freshly baked muffins and cookies to a well stocked mini fridge and snack basket. She even stocks the bathroom with various toiletries in case you forget or run out of something. She was available if needed but very respectful of our privacy. The bed was super comfortable and the sitting area was a nice place to unwind. Overall the stay was more similar to a bed and breakfast than your average vacation rental. Would definitely recommend.

First time to this area, so we were looking for a place that was centrally located. Jamestown is it! This property is meticulously maintained and the hosts, Connie and Frank were available but not overbearing. Everything we needed was anticipated here. Homemade cookies upon arrival and baked goods we could not resist. It was on the third floor, so be prepared to trek your bags up the stairs. The king bed was very comfy, the room temp was comfortably set, the bathroom was clean and bright, and the sitting area included a fridge, microwave and a Keurig coffeemaker. We loved the location so close to many restaurants and the town pier. The fire station is across the street, and we were warned about the 6:00 sounding of the horn, as well as the possibility of the horn sound at any time. Again, no problems during our stay. An absolute delight!

Such a magical stay
My mom and I stayed with Connie for one night and it was such a wonderful experience. She greeted us right when we arrived and gave us a tour and showed us everything and anything we might need. She literally thought of everything. My mom had forgotten her toothbrush and Connie even had an extra toothbrush in the medicine cabinet. I was in town for a wedding in Newport and the following morning my mom and I were able to take a walk through Jamestown and have breakfast across the street at Slice of Heaven. I wish we could have explored more of what Jamestown has to offer but it seems like the sweetest little town. Everyone seemed so friendly and down to earth and I truly loved the experience. Connie also happens to be an incredible baker and we took a couple of her cookies with us for our drive back to Connecticut. They were delicious! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

Prepare to be satisfied! Great weekend away!
We were away for a long weekend and had not visited Jamestown before. Connie was fantastic responding to my questions and provided information both before we arrived and throughout the stay. From minute one at arrival we were warmly welcomed to a beautiful property with every detail accounted for! Outdoors there beautiful koi pond with seating for relaxing. We were provided homemade goodies, snacks, wine, water, juices etc that made our stay even that much better! Our room, sitting area and bathroom were perfectly appointed and comfy including the lighting options. Honestly it’s clear EVERY detail (and every flower in the outdoor beds) is important. Cleanliness was impeccable, comfy beds, toiletries in case something was forgotten etc. What a relaxing great stay, we’ll be back to stay again. Thanks for exceeding expectations!

Great Stay!
My friend and I stayed in Connie’s third floor rental and had a great time! It was the perfect location —steps away from the downtown Jamestown area and the ferry to Newport. Connie’s homemade baked goods were to die for and such a nice treat to wake up to each morning! She made some great local restaurant and activity recommendations as well. My friend and I both agreed that this was also the cleanest rental either of us have stayed in. Definitely recommend for a getaway with a significant other or best friend!

Connie and Frank were so welcoming! I’ve never stayed in a VRBO before while the hosts Were there but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Check-in was easy, I was even able to check in early. The room was clean and cute, and I had my own bathroom (which was also clean)and sitting area with fresh baked goods, snacks, And drinks in the mini fridge! And a bottle of wine that frank and Connie make themselves! Jamestown is a hidden gem! I’ve never been to Rhode Island before but this was a cute little town and was in close driving distance to Newport. Both nights I was able to walk down the street and get very delicious meals, per recommendations from Connie! I will Be back for sure! This place Most definitely deserves a five star rating!

When we arrived to this property, the owner offered for us to stay in the downstairs apartment as there had been a cancellation and we had originally reserved the third floor. She permitted us to look at both apartments and we decided to stay in the downstairs apartment (an upgrade), at no extra charge! It turned out to be a fantastic place to stay. The apartment was large, well- lit, and exceptionally clean, and the mattresses and bedding were very comfortable. We actually used the full kitchen more than I anticipated. This apartment provided plenty of room to prepare and eat the breakfast foods, fruits, and snacks provided by the owner, which fueled us for our trip to Block Island. Connie also gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants in Jamestown (Beech was delicious) and information on the local state park (Beavertail) which I thought was more scenic than the Cliff Walk in Newport. This apartment was at the perfect location in Jamestown because we were able to walk to the harbor, shops, and restaurants, just about everywhere you might need to go. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again. Thanks for a most memorable stay!

BEST VRBO EVER!!
I can only say EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! From the first contact with Connie to the final goodbye, The Heart of Jamestown was a wonderful place....The homemade treats and a bottle of her vineyard red wine to welcome us after a grueling 14 hours on the highway were just the beginning...The MOST COMFORTABLE bed ever, beautiful, comfortable furnishings, a well stocked fridge, and the perfect location for our family gatherings.....with a welcome surprise...we had reserved the third floor apartment, and when we arrived, Connie greeted us with "If you would like, the first floor apartment is available, at no extra charge..." We were delighted! Thank you Connie for being the best hostess ever! We hope to return next fall.
