"Check in was easy and I was happy with the cleanliness of the apartment. Host was responsive and accommodating after concern over how hard the bed was. On the last night we stayed there was a water leak from the water heater. I heard dripping, opened the closet and found water all over and visible mold on the wall. There was water coming up from the floorboards in front of the closet and down the hall. Host denied any leak and provided no compensation for safety concerns. "

"I usually don’t leave poor reviews but after spending a few thousand dollars for a week vacation rental, we had a very early departure due to the poor condition of the property, location in a deteriorating neighborhood, and overall uncomfortable short stay. The property had very old furnishings, needs a complete update, bathtub didn’t drain, property cluttered inside and out, and my pet didn’t want to go into the unkept yard. I mentioned these concerns to the property contact, but the only reply...

"The private beach was a safe quiet option for our family. The pool was clean and safe. This is a very family friendly pet friendly spot.The beach is a little small, and not the waves you would expect because it is on the bay.but this is gonna be a spot that we return to. The check in / check out person (Nikeshia?) Was so very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay."
