"If you are looking for the authentic English village experience this is perfect. Beautiful old hotel with a nice pub on the first floor. Friendly people, two more pubs on the same corner. There’s a really beautiful forest nearby for good walks , it’s about a 30 min drive to the coast (Holy Island, Bamburgh etc). was really really enjoyable. "

"Was recommended this property by a colleague and i am glad i tried it out the facilities are new and modern and the staff are very attentive. Food was very nice. I found breakfast was a little over priced as there is fixed £15 charge which if you just want toast and a coffee is a bit pricey. But all in all very good and i will visit again."

"The Pele Tower was a great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is well situated to explore Northumberland. Our host (Ben) managed our messages/enquiries promptly and efficiently. The tower is well provisioned, we stayed in March and so enjoyed the use of the fire. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the showers/bath were effective. The only suggestions we have for development are that we found the lounge furniture to be not very comfortable and so it may be beneficial to consider an update, and the main door lock can be very temperamental. Other than that, we thought the tower was smashing and would consider staying again."
