“We understand that this property has changed hands several times and it currently shows with the lack of staffing and no food service on given days.There was no snack nor food items available. Having stayed here several times in the past it really has declined in the past experiences we have had there. Our room was clean and the accommodations fine but the rest of the area needed service especially at the front desk and departure.”

“Sorry, was very disappointed in our stay here. I understand it's rustic, but there was one staff member cleaning rooms, checking people in and so on. The restaurant and bar were not open due to no staffing. Very limited breakfast due to, again, no staff. No air conditioning, just a fan on the floor. Could not open the windows to let in some fresh air due to one being broken and taped shut. One of the beds was caving in to the left. The refrigerator was broken and leaking water. Floors……

“Nice little country cabin not too far from village of Chestertown or Lake George. Quiet and clean. Nice area if you want to have a campfire and have fellow travelers join in if that's something that interests you. We didn't stay long at the cabin as we were doing other activities, but it was a nice play to stay and the owners are very lovely.”

“We have stayed several times in this home. This was our first time visiting in spring time. The home is beautifully situated directly on the Hudson. The river melt running by was amazing. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to out the primary bedroom sliding glass doors.The home is a quaint Adirondack home with every cooking utensil and appliances one could possibly need; perfect for home cooking, if desired. Or if dining out is preferable: Warrensburg, Lake George, Bolton Landing, Gore are all……
