2/10 Terrible

"SpringHill was a very poor experience for us. We traveled all day and then got to the hotel around 6pm and we told at check-in that due to unforeseen circumstances we no longer had a room. I had reserved the room a month in advance, but when we arrived we were told that they had overbooked and they no longer had a room reserved for us. I told them I had reserved a room a month in advance and had a confirmation, but was told they often overbook. The only good thing was that the hotel contacted another hotel to get us a room at the Hampton. We were thankful for that as we were exhausted from our travels. Very disappointed that we planned our stay in advance and was told it was commonplace for SpringHill suites to overbook and not honor reservations."

"This is our second time staying at the Bumbleberry Inn. We love the feel of a family owned hotel. They have a dvd library in the lobby, this is probably as close to a Video Store my kids will ever experience. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. There was a herd of friendly deer that stayed on the property right outside our patio door. The breakfast provided at Porters is amazing. 😀 to those waitresses well! They deserve it. My only complaint is the air vent for the AC is high on the wall and blows at the ceiling so the room got quite warm. Find a way to redirect that air down & there would be no complaints at all. Don't hesitate to book Bumbleberry!!!!"

"parking was just in front of the room, clean and huge room, it had a nice backyard and deck with chairs. The pool and hot tub was clean and amazing and was available until 10PM. This was a great place to relax and rest after long hikes. The Springdale shuttle stop was right infront of the property so didn't have to worry about parking at the visitor center. This property also have nice view of the mountains."

"The room was not so clean, but The main problem was the smell coming out of the bathroom sink. Staff tried to help but the only temporary relief was to pour bleach down the drain and keep the sink covered. No other rooms available as it was the Memorial Day weekend and the hotel was full. Not a pleasant stay."
