“Overall the stay was good. The location was perfect. The unit is a bit smaller than depicted in the photograph. We enjoyed the small balcony looking out on Ft Derussy having a coffee in the early mornings. We had a nice view of Diamond head and beach. It was reasonable walking distance to Waikiki beach, the Hale Koa and Hilton Hawiian Village. Nice little shop on ground floor with good quality Hawiian clothing. “Good location. The lobby and first floor of the Ilikai are nice spaces. My only complaint is that the small mini-split AC unit is underpowered for this room. We were never able to get the room cool enough. We kept the shades closed but the heat from the windows overpowers this small AC unit. A fan in the room would have been helpful.
