“Nice view of the canal and mountains from the apartment. We appreciated the location as well. However I would not recommend this property for different reasons. First, the flat requires a deep clean and some work, especially the bathroom which is really old fashioned (water just riddles out even with the tap full in the shower). Then, we were awake every morning at 5.30am because of the lack of curtain, either they don’t cover properly the window or they let the light through. Finally, the combo……

“Lousy setup for room, headboard was barely attached to frame, polyester sheets over mattress with no pad, no night stand. Dirty window ledges and you could hear every bit of the intense traffic noise from Ala Wai through the windows. Air conditioner was deafening even with silicone ear plugs. Bad deal for this price point and the reviews through Expedia are not representative of what you get. There are better deals in Waikiki. Left after one night. This is an expensive mistake to make.”
