“This studio is a lovely haven. It was clean and comfortable, and felt safe--not only is it in a nice neighborhood but has a full kitchen with reliable power and clean water in a kind of rural area. Also, it's in a location with some of the freshest air in the world. Kilauea erupted while I was there, but the air quality stayed good in Kalapana. Communication with the property manager was great. “A really cool place. Sharon and Stephen were wonderful hosts (this is a small ‘condo’ downstairs on their property). Very comfortable, parking is doorside w a private entrance. Beautifully landscaped yard. Kitchen is well stocked w/ utensils and basic seasonings/condiments for cooking. Walk-in shower and adjacent outdoor shower. Seaview is definitely off the beaten path—20 min drive to town down a road w/ incredible scenery. My favorite was listening to the sounds of the jungle at night……

“Fabulous place to stay! Everything was clean and the processes were easy to follow. When I needed help it was immediately available. Traveling alone I didn’t need a two bedroom but it was a delicious indulgence in a great location and very comfortable, at a very fair price. I’m glad I found it and I would stay again. “This is a wonderful place to stay in Puna. It is in the heart of the area and they regularly host events, which can be fun to attend. They have a cafe at the reception area with some healthy food options, mostly pre-made.”

“Beds are so comfortable. Lovely grounds , spa is great with hot tub and sauna that you can reserve for private time. Birds can be noisy but you get used to them and actually look forward to hearing and seeing them around the property. ”
