“The staff were friendly and helpful and the location to downtown Kennett Square and Longwood gardens was great, about a 5 min drive to both locations. However the room was very disappointing. I was surprised given that this is a Marriott property and being a loyal Marriott customer I was very disappointed in the condition of the room. When we arrived to our room we entered what smelt like a musty dungeon. A lot of the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and there was torn carpet everywhere. I can……

“The room had such character. Everything was clean with interesting touches. The linens we’re a good quality as was the mattress and the pillows. It wasn’t just a hotel room. I would love to stay there again. It was in a great area and was definitely worth it.”

“I wasn’t sure what to expect from our stay at the Francis, but it was an extremely charming, clearly brand new contact list, Hotel. We stayed in the Gardener room, and really enjoyed it. Definitely did not feel like a typical hotel. Check in and check out were seamless, location is perfect, thank you!”
