“The ceiling/floors are very poorly insulated for sound so you hear every step from your neighbors above. It is so loud it almost seems amplified in the wall space. It's a shame because the hotel is otherwise nice. But this sound issue is so bad it is almost a joke. Completely unacceptable.”

“The Bookhouse is a wonderful concept! Prioritizing books, making them accessible everywhere, is delightful. There were adventurous and playful touches, including the secret hide-away on the first floor, behind a bookcase. Housing a hotel in a very old house is another terrific choice. The restoration process is clearly in progress; it's understandable that it's a long-term project. Drawbacks were largely fixable. Delicious food and a taste of American culture through the locals and their music. Lovely evening! The ride from Longwood Gardens to the hotel is gorgeous and takes about half hour.”
