"We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. We arrived about three hours before check-in and were happy our room was ready. We were a little surprised by the $20 early check-in fee since the room was already cleaned and available. It seemed like it could have been offered as a courtesy. We had a queen room with a distant ocean view. It was on the corner with big windows on both sides and a large private balcony. The room was spacious, clean, and updated, although the bathroom could use a refresh—which is kind of part of the charm of Wildwood. The toilet paper holder was missing the rod, so we kept the roll on the back of the toilet. A small broom, handheld vacuum, or even a mat by the door would help with all the sand. The bed was comfortable, but there were only three pillows instead of four. The shower had low water pressure but plenty of hot water. The sofa was uncomfortable, the refrigerator was very small, and the towels weren't very soft, but they were clean. Housekeeping was available on request, and extra towels were delivered quickly. We forgot toothpaste, so it would be nice if they offered a few travel-size toiletries or sold them at the front desk. The pool area was clean, although the walkways could get crowded with housekeeping carts and guests' chairs and wagons. Overall, it was a good value. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends."

"Perfect place for a trip with our young dog as the staff is ready to welcome him as well. The restaurant was off limits to pets, but that is not at all unexpected. Evenings in with the dog were easy as the TV provided access to one of our favorites, Master Class pod casts. Well run hotel."

Bally's Dover Casino Resort

"The property over all is clean and well maintained. Staff were not in your way but any time you crossed paths they were very friendly and willing to help. I also found that the place is quiet and big enough that you never feel cramped. Elevators are quick (I know that an of thing to notice)! I will stay here any time I am in the area."
