"Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating."

"We had a great stay! My wife was really impressed with the property and all that was to offer. We arrived early and we made use of the leisure facilities that were on the property. We had requested a crib for our son and this was in our lodge. We had also had to reschedule our dinner reservation and this was done without any issues. "This is one of the best parking lots we encountered in all of Scotland. The hotel had a nice continental breakfast that you could also get hot or cold breakfast in addition to the continental items and it had a large variety items you can order for dinner."

"Only a brief overnight stay. Lovely welcome from reception, polite and very friendly. Nice room for a single - although noise from the room next door (loud tv). Generally a pleasant experience though. "
