We were surprised to be told that the property is about 25 years old, because it's superb maintenance suggested a much younger age to us. "Hotel deco looking tired, corridor carpets dirty, doesn't supply 2 room entry cards per couple, bathrooms towels are old & frayed. The duty manager appeared to be cold and unwelcoming. Generally we got the impression the management was not investing enough into the hotel. some of the dining room staff gave good service and the chef accommodated our special requests."

"OMG what a wonderful trip/adventure. The boat cruised around the back waters for about 4 hours. First before we cruised they served us a wonderful lunch. Then while cruising we stopped at a fish market to buy us whatever we wanted to eat for dinner. I bought 6 giant prawns that they cooked up for me in addition to the other chicken dish we had for dinner. Delish!! Vacation time well spent."
