"The view from the room was very nice, the room itself was very clean and quiet so I was able to have a peaceful and relaxing stay, though it would have been nice if it were a little more well lit, but overall very satisfactory. The meals provided were delicious, I was happy to be able to sample many different dishes and the service was amazing but the portion was a little too much for me, maybe half of what was provided would’ve been just perfect but nonetheless it was an amazing experience. "Good point is very close to JR station. But terrible points are, no elevator, need to get heavy luggage upstairs, need to charge 1000 yen if you need to keep luggage there for a couple of hours after check out, hot spring bath available at limited time period , and the smell of the new wood in the room have give a bad day for those who are sensitive to smell, just like those people don’t smoke cannot tolerate smoking room. Think before you try provided the cost of stay is not cheap when compared...

"We stayed in a room with a private indoor and outdoor bath. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing experience. Check in and check out were a breeze and all of the staff were wonderfully welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the short walk into town allowed us to explore all of the charming shops and restaurants that Yufuin had to offer."
