“A sleek modern four star hotel located in a busy section of Grenada (although the hotel was quiet). Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. It was easy to find a taxi stand (located across the street) for the 15 minute ride to Alhambra. It would have been a long, uphill climb to get there and our hosts at the hotel advised us to take a taxi. The hotel is also located only a short distance from the oldest part of town. He enjoyed our stay here and……

“Newly renovated hotel with great location, lots restaurants and coffee shops near by and the Cathedral only 8 minutes walk away. You can even see the night light of Alhambra through room windows. Staff are friendly and room is clean. Only weakness is there is no kettle in the room, in winter it is a bit pity.”

“Barceló Carmen is in a great location for walking to Alhambra and the Arabic/romany quarter. There are lots of options for dinning close by. We did not take breakfast in the hotel-so was not able to evaluate. The room facilities were well thought out and everything was designed well for travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel. ”
