Lake Ozark Vacations
From Lake Ozark, the city of Kansas City is approximately 120 miles (193 kilometers) to the northwest.
It's recommended not to limit your tour to the points of interest in Lake Ozark because the whole region has been graced with a wealth of interesting things to do and see. Make sure you make tracks to the Gran Rally Karts and Ozark Caverns in and around Osage Beach, which is 4 miles (6 kilometers) away. If you are ready for more, make your way over to Eldon and see the Lake Ozark Speedway and Jacob's Cave. Eldon is approximately 11 miles (18 kilometers) from Lake Ozark.
Organize some transportation and visit Columbia, a retail and transport hub for the region, situated approximately 55 miles (89 kilometers) from Lake Ozark. The city offers plenty of visitor attractions, including University of Missouri, Faurot Field and Columbia Mall. Columbia College and Mizzou Arena are just a few of the many other attractions that await.
Should the heavens open, don't worry, Central Missouri offers a wide range of history museums, that will keep you and your family busy.

The most convenient major airport, Waynesville Regional Airport, is located in Fort Leonard Wood, 40 miles (64 kilometers) to the southeast of Lake Ozark, so take that into account when planning your holiday.
