Olympic Condo - Whiteface Club Resort - Views - Jackrabbit Trail - STR 200356

Olympic Resort Condominiums were built in the late 1970’s to be used specifically for housing the competing athletes in the 1980 Winter Olympics. Olympic Condo was recently remodeled to include two bedrooms and one bath with an open floor plan that offers golf course and mountain views, a dining area, well equipped kitchen, living area and glass sliders leading to a covered balcony.
Whiteface Club & Resort on the shore of Lake Placid lake offers amenities for the whole family on a fee basis including a full-service Marina, two restaurants, an 18-hole Championship golf course, 6 clay Tennis courts, hiking and biking trails. Winter offers cross country skiing on groomed trails through the golf course, back country skiing on the Jackrabbit trail system, snowshoeing, ice skating and tubing.
The resort is a short two-mile drive to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid for exploring the Olympic venues, shopping and restaurants. Nine miles to Whiteface Mountain for skiing, mountain biking during the summer months or taking a gondola ride to see the views of the Adirondack wilderness. Cross Country Ski at the Olympic Complex/Mt. Vanhoevenberg, try a Bobsled or Luge run on the original Olympic tracks or Ice Skate on the Olympic Oval. Lake Placid has it all.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was exactly as pictured, very immaculate (super clean!) and incredibly cozy. Our almost 3 year old daughter absolutely loved the room with the bunk beds (nice safe stairs to walk up to top bunk), with the cozy carpet and bean bags. The location was great and it had all of the amenities that you would need. We kept saying we want to come back with some friends and stay here again!

Lovely stay the first time we came back a year later!

We had another great stay in this condo on the north end of Lake Placid. We love the location - near the Jack Rabbit trail and several great hikes. We also like to be close to Saranac lake. The condo has all you need to relax and our host was quick to respond.

Great condo just outside of town!
This was a nice, quiet condo just a couple minute drive outside of town/mirror lake. My 4 y/o daughter LOVED that she had her own room - a nice bunk bed, space to play, bean bags a TV and video games. We also enjoyed the porch area just off of the living room. The property was clean, spacious and Dan was so kind and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay!
