To reach this point you have to climb 400 steps to the bottom of the gorge, cross the river (not easy) and hike about a half mile. It's a rugged hike over boulders and rock faces. The climb down to the gorge is a steep set of stairs to a viewing platform where you can see this fall at a angle. If you want to see more of the gorge, you must follow a trail along the river on what is more of a rock climb than a hike. Even though it's a steep climb down into the gorge, many young kids and teenagers love to come here to slide down Bridal Veil Falls into the pool below.
