“This was great maintain cottage and certainly a better experience than a hotel or motel. It is in a nice location, but the road to the place might get your attention. That said... the road to the place is very quiet and private. The place is close to a LOT of interesting sights- like the entrance to Pike Peaks, A few miles from The Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellers and Manitou Springs (lot of shopping). Everything worked as expected in the house. A Walmart is within 5 miles for……

“We had a wonderful stay. The beds were so comfortable. We actually searched for the brand because we wanted one for home. The kitchen was well stocked. The parking is a bit tight for 2 vehicles, but mountain parking seems to be that way. Thank you for offering your place.”

“Green Sparrow’s Nest had a nice Mountain View. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck enjoying the wildlife around us. We saw birds; Stellar Jays, Violet Green Swallows, hummingbirds, Chickadees, nuthatches, magpies, crows and more. We saw deer, including an 8 point buck and we even saw a black bear, all from our deck.”

“The host was very kind. It was a beautiful rustic cabin with amazing views. Had a nice kitchen with a gas stove. The patio was particular highlight. All together, a nice, cozy, quiet getaway. ”

“This property is located just far enough from Colorado Springs that you feel secluded. Expect to see wildlife up close. The cabin itself it beautifully renovated and decorated. The hot tub felt amazing after a long day of exploring Colorado. Our kids enjoyed the loft area and used it as a play space. We cooked most of our meals in the cabin which had everything we needed. Major plus was having a washer and dryer to do laundry. Our overall experience was amazing and will definitely book this……

“My husband and I stayed 4 nights. This place was so nice and easy to relax in. Very clean, stylish decor, and a great floor plan. We had everything we needed foe comfortable stay. The hot tub was clean and hot, perfect to end the day in the cool evening. We will definately stay here again.”

The sparrows nest studio appointment is so cute and would be the perfect romantic get away for sure...it is definitely not for tall people because the ceiling is so low....im sure the other 2 upstairs units have higher ceilings ..so if you are tall id go with one of the 2 upper units. Check in and check out was really easy . We are definitely gonna stay again.”

“Great space compared to hotel rooms we had stayed in along the way, with comparable price. No comparison on the accommodations you get here. It was awesome. Birdwatching from the balcony was lovely. Trail up Mount Dewey was within walking distance to trailhead. Would definitely stay again. Host very receptive as needed.”
