“This is a great older property on the highway as you come into Lead from Deadwood. I used to live in town so .camilair with the property and it's history. They have cabins and rooms. We stayed in a room. It was roomy even with a King size bed, plus had a loveseat, tall dinette, dresser, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pet friendly property. They are in the process of remodeling the rooms/cabins and other buildings (4/2026), and are adding a fenced-in dog area. There is also a covered……

“There is no pool they have hot tubs. Clean room still room for improvements more bath towels and wash clothes air conditioning filters need to be cleaned, if they continue to use half pillows maybe add an extra one to each bed instead of 3. Quiet and close to Deadwood. Breakfast is ok gravy has no sausage but you eggs biscuits and gravy waffles and waffles. Pop machine on Second floor out of drinks. Overall nice place to stay for the money very reasonable.”

“Buffalo Trail Cabin is so beautiful and they have truly thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The mattresses are a luxury experience. The cabin is so clean and well stocked and the complimentary cookies are not to be missed, soft and buttery and craveable. The hot tub was full, clean, hot, and such a treat on the morning we woke up to a skiff of snow. There are abundant fluffy towels, the fridge has a full ice maker, the smart tv is ready for you to login to your streaming……
