“The room was absolutely disgusting! Hair all over the sheets and bed. We asked for a room change and they couldn't. So we asked for new bedding and they just handed it to us instead of changing it. To top it all off, our room was in a basement! The staff was zero help and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I would give zero stars if it allowed me. Absolutely disgusting, do not recommend!”

“For the price, I felt this hotel was very cheap in every way. Breakfast quality was subpar and the same for cleanliness of the room and hotel. For older people, there is no elevator. I had better experience at smaller motels but then the price was half the cost this hotel changed.”

“This is our third stay at Iron Horse and we will keep coming back. We are most impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Paint, carpet, bathroom, etc are all clean and in great working order. The property is clean and well-kept as well. The staff is also friendly and helpful. The Inn is located close to many of the Black Hills attractions. There is a restaurant/bar on site with good food and beverages as well as a few other options in town. The only downside (not much of one) is there is no……

“Our room still had wet towels from the person before us. Kids were in the pool way past 10 and we're very noisy.”

“The hotel was newer and both well maintained and clean. They do accept pets, but do not have separate floors for pets and no pets. This was my biggest gripe as I do not want to stay in a room where pets are allowed. There was a nice breakfast and staff was real nice.”

“I'd go back because of the price mainly and the nice staff. Couple issues though, no cover on the back of the remote and the AC units are pretty old, so it was loud and we had to have it on low in order to hear the TV, which was all the way on high. Also, our room did not lock behind you so we didn't leave much behind when we went out for a smoke. ”

“Great place to stay if you can’t fit a vehicle in downtown Deadwood. Parking was easy, for a one ton truck, trailer and SxS. Extremely helpful staff, room was spacious, clean and up to date. The food was above average, better than traditional hotel restaurant food. And the gaming was not overwhelming. Will stay again!”
