"This is a charming little inn. We enjoyed a cozy suite with a fireplace and a hot tub. The bed was very comfortable and the doorside delivery of hot coffee and a continental breakfast in a cute picnic basket was a nice touch. Although the room was at the basement level (with small windows at the top of the ceiling), the fireplace added nice ambiance. The bathroom soaps and shampoo were a bit basic, but absolutely serviceable. And while we never met the innkeepers, they had left the keys and a useful packet of information for us when we arrived. This was a nice location for our two day stay to experience music at Tanglewood. I would stay here again."

"This was a well done renovation in a building that has seen many Presidents! Everything we needed was there. There are a lot of stairs, but the rental agreement clearly stated that and it was no surprise. For a downtown apartment, it was quiet."

"I have rented several places over the years. This is probably the BEST rental out of them all. The host is fantastic! She is incredibly helpful, reasonable, communicative. The accommodations were described accurately. Everything was very homey and comfortable. It was especially fantastic to have queen beds for everyone since we had adult couples. And bedroom options both upstairs and downstairs with full bathrooms for various needs. Everything was clean and tidy. The host also doesn’t require any chores! We were only asked to pull sheets off the bed if we had time - with no expectations that we had to. The neighborhood is cute and walkable with many local attractions within biking or driving distance. Beautiful flowers and large yard. Highly recommend!"

"Location is excellent for all Berkshires cultural attractions. Host was very responsive. The stairway was very steep, and there were no grab bars in the showers so this may not be suitable for older people with even slight mobility impairments. Some of the beds were made up without a top sheet."
