“overall good stay”

“We have stayed here a couple of times now while in town for softball tournaments. Very reasonable pricing, clean rooms, breakfast included and not a far drive to the fields. It’s just what we need to get a little sleep and get back to playing the next morning. The pancake maker is a big hit with the kids!”

“The breakfast had subpar options. Only basics. The weight room that is photographed on the website is completely misleading. There was only a small room with no AC, a treadmill, and recumbent bike. There were many stragglers in the lobby and at the pool. Meaning they appeared to not be staying at the hotel, not freeloading off the amenities and this was allowed by the staff. We asked for a late checkout arrangement upon check in and was denied. would not recommend a stay here and would……

“Room was cleaned and very well kept up-to-date. Place was quiet and they had amazing parking all specifically outlined for the event and took extra care of the motorcycle motorcycles due to it being a motorcycle weekend.”

“The owner, Margie, gave us a complete history of the inn upon our arrival. The inn is filled top to bottom with antiques, artwork and statuary. Loaded with artwork by the Florida Highwaymen and many works of art featuring Margie’s beloved Irish Wolfhounds, three of which live on site, but were kept in a different part of the inn. Check in/out was easy. Location is nearby the main downtown shopping area.”

“If you are looking for just a bed and shower this is your place. My husband and I live an hour away but we were in town for the Megan Woods concert and we didn't want to drive home afterwards. Unknowingly the hotel was a mile away from the school so that was a perk! I didn't want to pay out a lot of money for a fancy hotel when I have a beautiful house so we weren't looking for amenities. The shower didn't look like it was cleaned before I used it and when I walked across the carpet in my bare……

“The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property and very reasonably priced. It's a older hotel but if you are just looking for a nice place to sleep it is nice. Not a lot of amenities if you're looking for a place to stay during the day. It is very close to Mt. Dora.”
