“Clean, friendly, quiet”

“The staff was good.The room was clean, but the breakfast was the worst we've ever had in a hotel. They ran out of coffee and milk . We waited, around forty minutes to get coffee. No eggs, no sausage, no bacon, only biscuits with gravy bagels and muffins. All starch products. The furniture and the seats in the breakfast room were dirty with stains...”

“If you are looking for just a bed and shower this is your place. My husband and I live an hour away but we were in town for the Megan Woods concert and we didn't want to drive home afterwards. Unknowingly the hotel was a mile away from the school so that was a perk! I didn't want to pay out a lot of money for a fancy hotel when I have a beautiful house so we weren't looking for amenities. The shower didn't look like it was cleaned before I used it and when I walked across the carpet in my bare……

Sewer flies in sink drain; non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes, holes in drapes and falling off hanger hooks; lamp shades damaged; badly needed painting; ceiling cracking; mildew under sink faucet; furniture surfaces sticky & dirty; hair in shower; rusty drawer pull handles; very rusty metal wardrobe rack; swimming pool dirty; 2 pool skimmer nets badly torn and not usable; broken pool furniture; handicap access seat for pool had badly torn cover; ran out of……

“The owner, Margie, gave us a complete history of the inn upon our arrival. The inn is filled top to bottom with antiques, artwork and statuary. Loaded with artwork by the Florida Highwaymen and many works of art featuring Margie’s beloved Irish Wolfhounds, three of which live on site, but were kept in a different part of the inn. Check in/out was easy. Location is nearby the main downtown shopping area.”
