“Hated writing this one. Were huge on not caring too much about overall condition and usually go based on price concern with a balance of convenience, quiet and cleanliness. Great place if you can actually get it cheap and just need it a night or two. TONS of stairs, don’t book if you have a bunch of luggage or are by yourself and have several pieces to carry. “I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.”

It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. “This place was absolutely spotless! Very accommodating as we were able to store our luggage onsite while we waited for check in. Staff were very responsive. Location wise, it is in a great spot. Tons of food and things to do nearby and everything is walkable. I loved being able to dial in a code to get in and out of the building as well as our room so I did not have to worry about a key card since there is no front desk. Will definitely book with them again next time I am in Scotland! ”
