“Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable.
Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. Thank you. ”

“I paid higher price for a room with a private bathroom, unfortunately the private bathroom is not in my room, my wife and I had to walk across the public landing, passing another room door, to get to the “private bathroom”. There are small insects too, we don’t mind the spiders, but the flies are quite annoying.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Westcroft Guesthouse. Sarah is an amazing host and her two dogs are beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous and full of beautiful art, books and furniture. Sarah is so friendly and helpful. She made us a delicious cooked breakfast each morning, as well as pastries, fruit and yoghurt. The guesthouse overlooks the bay and the beach is a stones throw (very literally!) away, as is the little pub. It's all just delightful and I'd love to go back. ”

"Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay "
