"Unfortunately we had to depart 2 days into a 5 day planned staycation as my 92 year-old mum became quite ill. At her age we needed to get her home quickly. Despite the fact that this was beyond our control, the Cordis Hotel refused our request for a refund for the remaining days, meaning we were out $1200\. My poor mum was so upset. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again in future. I prefer properties where they care more about the well-being of guests versus money."
