"What was unusual/unique to me was the check-in process for late or after-hours arrival. There was no staff on duty after 11PM, therefore in order to gain entry to the facility, a code was provided gain access to a separate wing of the main entrance. Also, there was no elevator access to the room which was on the second floor. This was highly problematic for me because I have serious mobility issues and trying to get Luggage and my walker up a steep flight of stairs was a major problem. Although the room was clean, it was very sparsely furnished and certainly not what I expected in a rated as this one was. Apparently this after hours room hadn't been rented very often because the windows were open to air out the still evident mildewy odor. I would not recommend this facility if there was a chance that arrival might be late or after hours because there won't any in person assistance available. I don't have an opinion on the Hotel Royal main faciltiy because unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy that experience."
