"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive...

"We were in room 449 with a balcony. Pros Nice hotel the staff were brilliant breakfast nice and great location. The bed really comfortable. Cons Thursday night slept like a log. The second night Friday little did we know there was a nightclub next to room. The booming from music went through your body. We phoned reception to see what time the club shut we were advised 3an. Didnt get to sleep till 3.30am. Which wasn't ideal as we had a long drive up to the highlands. And felt shattered in the morning. "
