“We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. “The room was okay. For a freshly refurbished hotel, the walls were quite stained and dirty. My biggest downside of the room was the lack of a safe. I have never been to a hotel anywhere without a safe. The location is quite central to the rest of the city. The staff is nice, but there is no elevator and they do not offer help to transport your luggage- so if you have a bad back or something of that effect, you should probably reconsider this property.
