5/5 Stars — Great Stay at Dunes Inn Sunset! We had a great experience staying at Dunes Inn Sunset! The room was clean and comfortable, and we felt safe throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Housekeeping was excellent, with fresh linens and towels provided regularly. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

Nice location. Security guard and free parking was a plus. Close enough to Hollywood walk of fame, sign, Griffith park and Universal. Target across the street was convenient. Plus there was a 7/11, Burger King, Panda Express walking distance. Beds were comfortable.

Place is clean and staff was friendly. Best part is its close to 7 eleven and gas station just in case you need drinks or snacks. But also a Burger King and Food Truck that serves really good tacos/mexican food. Also at night their are other food trucks that serve desserts and Hibachi. This place is locat3d in good spot and also close to the freeway.

Great location! The only complaint I have is that there is a window unit in the top corner of the room that doesn’t work very well so it does get pretty hot. Other than that it was fine! Free parking and security was a plus

This motel is so close to every attraction, it's amazing. The rooms are the perfect size and clean. Walking distance to restaurants, stores and the freeway. And the parking is the best part. Secure and spacious. Very quiet also. We loved our stay.

Great place to stay. 20 minutes driving from West Hollywood and 8-10 minutes driving from Walk of fame and beverly hills. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Parking was perfect, staff was great and location was a close 17 min drive to universal studios. My big issue: I traveled with my two boys (12) and the minute they stepped into the room they had runny noses & sore throats. The only time this happened during our two night stay in LA was when they were in the room. While we were out they were perfectly fine. I was fine but unfortunately they were not. I would really consider looking into mold issues (thought of this after) in the building because the reaction they had was only when inside the room. I had to leave the window open and run the fan (which is quite loud) and left the door open when we could. We also did spot a couple of tiny unwanted critters.

This place was very clean and well maintained, spotless in fact, but the only "amenities" are vending machines with drinks and ice. It is more of a very clean and nice motel, not a hotel or inn. Perfect if you want to stay in that area. The immediate neighborthood around the Dunes is not exciting, but there are good bars and restaurants not too far. The employees and operations manager are very nice, flexible and accommodating, and I would certainly stay there again with the above in mind.

The hotel was very nice and an exceptional value. I particularly appreciate the front desk worker Saturday who allowed us to check in at noon after we arrived from our cruise. He was kind to do so.

Stayed for 3 days, 2 nights and it was a pretty enjoyable experience. The rooms were a lot nicer than what I was originally expecting (since it is a motel), and the beds were very comfortable. Overall would definitely stay again.
