Breeze Inn

Breeze Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Stay in the Harbor Annex side for view of small harbor! It was amazing! Staff was super helpful. We arrived early so we stored our luggage there in locked storage room then headed out for lunch and exit glacier hike before returning to check into our awesome room. It was across from lobby in separate building with best view of small harbor, boats and cruise ships, plus mountains in background. Beds were clean and comfortable. We had small refrigerator, coffee maker and coffee in rooms, plus coffee in lobby. We loved our stay here. It was BEST location for excursions too. Day cruises meet across street, as did our bus pickup when we left and you can walk to Glacier exit office, too. We had friends stay in main hotel but their room didn't have near the view and closer to main road behind it so could sometimes hear traffic. Their room was bigger tho but our view was unbeatable!! Loved it."

Spruce Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"This place is very newly built and very clean and excellent, nicely done, with good views at a very good location very close to Seward downtown. I'd highly recommend a stay here. Parking was ample when we went there. The only thing I did not know is that the kitchen did not have a cooking range or a gas stove or something. There is a very big expanded microwave and a full-size refrigerator but there's no cooking range here. Also the bathroom shower's water pressure was very, very low. The bathroom is fantastic. It's brand new so really nicely done but the shower pressure is very, very low. That would be my only feedback but I would highly recommend for people going to Seward to stay at this location. We're a family of four and the room size is big enough and very spacious for four of us. "

"Great location, close to the water and walkable to many restaurants and shops. Lobby has good atmosphere. Didn't get a chance to try breakfast. Room was a little outdated and bathroom was small. Hotel served the purpose for what we needed. The waterfront rooms had great views."

"I've seen a lot of people razz on this property. Yes it is old and could use some maintenance. It does have character and was very comfortable for us to stay overnight. I would go back again. If you can't lug your luggage up a couple flights of stairs, maybe you should hit the gym. Have an adventure."
