"Our initial room smelled of cigarette smoke. Being an asthmatic I couldn't deal with it so I waited until the long check-in lines died down and asked management if we had put in a smoking room by mistake. We were told all our rooms were non-smoking and she immediately moved us to another room. I was so grateful. Also, watch your checkout bill because we were charged for buying something in the pantry and we didn’t visit the pantry. The charges were removed. "

"Great location and very friendly staff. Location is great and the vibe is classy but the rooms are old and pretty dated. Nothing that will interfere with a great time, however. Remember you’re in the heart of the French Quarter, so expect the noise level to be high and ongoing until the wee hours. Spring is a great time to visit before the temperatures and prices become unbearable. Would stay here again. "

"They need thicker bed spreads. Sleeping in sleets makes it hard to sleep comfortably and on a hard mattress. Other than that, great staff, excellent location, and clean room."
