Nice rooms, great staff, beautiful hotel but horrible parking situation. Getting in or out of the French Quarter with a car is not easy. Otherwise it's a great option in New Orleans.

The air conditioning was pretty bad, got an upgrade to a better room and air conditioning was still not great. We did not want to bother them any more about it, just sucked it up and waited for our last day there

I stayed here in 2019 and LOVED the place, but a few years made a huge difference. The daily buffet isn’t done anymore, which was one of the reasons I stayed there. My television had no power, but it was fixed quickly. Housekeeping hits the door at 7:30am, which is EXTREMELY early. The furniture is definitely showing signs of wear and tear.

My wife and I stayed here on our 9th anniversary this last weekend (July 5-7) and we had so much fun. We didn’t get our free bottle of wine, but that was no biggie for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend staying here due to how close we were to Bourbon and Royal.

The Hotel Mazarin is very well kept and nice for an older hotel. Great location in the French Quarter and plenty of restaurants close by. The only downside was that a continental breakfast was listed when we booked the room, and there was no kind of breakfast provided the 3 days we stayed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would probably stay there again.

This is absolutely NOT a luxurious boutique hotel. Room was filthy, sink was gross, the water would not drain from the toilet, and the lighting was so dim that we couldn’t even tell whether the room or towels were clean. I reported to the office twice about the clogged bathroom tub. The only good thing about this place is the location and the fact that you get free water bottles from the lobby.

The property was cool bc it was located in the heart of the French quarter. Staff was friendly and tried to help as best they could. Two biggest complaints: the AC barely worked the first 2 days we were there and not at all in the 3rd. It was so humid in our room that the floor was slippery from condensation. At one point I slept on the floor bc it was cooler there than on the bed. No fans to circulate air. Just stale. The second complaint was that our room was next to the service elevator and also apparently where house keeping decided to have morning muster at 0800. Nothing like waking up to people yelling at each other first thing in the morning to really get your day going.

The room was nice. Gorgeous marble floors and bathroom was elegant. The TV size was great but channel selection not great. There was no ice available. There was a nice working mini fridge and safe deposit box. Overall good value.
