"Everyone we interacted with was friendly and courteous. Even the "nature view" casitas can still see the ocean, and we loved having our own private pool, although the hotel pool is beautiful, too. "Breakfast was complimentary and good. The staff was super nice and accomodating. The room was clean; however, the hotel is so outdated that when you first walk in you are a bit taken aback. The lighting is terrible. There is no room in the bathroom for toilteris especially in the shower. Lighting was poor in the bathroom and in the room. There was a work crew painting in the hotel but they need more then just paint. The hotel has so much potential if properly renovated. Beautiful view of the beach and pools. The pool also needs updating. Staff was super nice. "

"We booked a room through Expedia at the Vista Verde Hotel but when we arrived, they told us that they thought we had cancelled our reservation and they had no available rooms. We had cancelled a longer stay we had made and re-booked it for just one night but they said they had no record of it even though we had an itinerary through Expedia. They couldn't call Expedia for us to get it straightened out. When I got back from vacation, I called Expedia and asked for a refund and they said they have to wait until they can contact the hotel and verify the story. It has been days and they still say they can't get a hold of the property. This is ridiculous. Expedia took my money for a room and then the room wasn't available so to me it's cut and dry - I am owed a refund. It's ridiculous this run-around they are putting me the through!"

"Aquí tienes una versión más corta con énfasis en el personal: ⸻ I stayed here for two nights in Aguada and had a very good experience. The location is great and close to everything, especially places to eat and have breakfast. The property is nice and comfortable, with hot water and good amenities, though a bit of maintenance is needed in some areas. What truly stands out is the staff—they are excellent. Very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. I would definitely recommend this place, mainly because of their outstanding service."

"The staff was friendly and helpful; however, check-in was not available to us when we arrived at 4 am after a long flight and a two-hour drive. We had to wait until the front desk people showed up at 6 am. The music was too loud, and when parties were happening in the conference room, it kept you awake if you were in the 100's rooms. The weekends are open like a club and the pool is open to outside guests."
