"AVOID!!! On arrival after flying all day we arrived at 4:00 pm which is room check in time. We noticed the check in line was moving very slowly and there were a lot of people standing with their luggage in the lobby. Once we got to the front of the line we were also notified like the other customers that our room was not ready. They suggested we set in the lobby and wait for a little while and they would call us when the room was good. We sat for an hour and a half before we approached the check in counter for a second time to be told once again our room was not ready. I have never left a bad review on any service that we have used, but I think other travelers should be weary of staying at this property. You are paying 4 star prices and most definitely not getting anywhere near 4 star service. Go elsewhere. We also were charged a resort fee that was not clearly discussed with us. We still did not get into our room until 7pm. We will not suggest this hotel to anyone going forward. "

"Arrived very early to the hotel (10am) so knew the room would not be ready. After a wait to be seen by the unhurried reception staff we told them of this and they stored our large cases for us and said they would send us an email when the room was ready. Waited until 4pm and as no email had arrived we asked to check in 'officially'. We were told the room was 'being inspected' and would be another 10 minutes. Half an hour later we went to reception yet again and was told it wouldn't be long. After another 10 minutes it was finally ready. The staff did not tell us of the welcome drink, resort fee etc etc. We then went to the bar and waited for anyone to turn up. The reception staff could see us waiting but showed no interest at all. No smiles, no niceties and certainly no apologies from any staff we interacted with during this time. Breakfast was OK. The hot water urn had been used for coffee previously so my tea tasted of coffee. The older chef was great and was saying good morning and asking if he could get us anything. He and one young lady receptionist and one older cleaning lady were the only members of staff we interacted with over 3 days that seemed cheerful, pleasant and keen to provide a good service. Male pool restroom had no hand towels for 2 days and today no toilet paper either. The shuttle bus is a good service and a great choice to get to the beach or Old Town. Overall, we're amazed at the positive reviews here as we thought it was pretty poor. "

I would love to stay here again. I stayed in the suite with an accent room with two twin beds which was perfect for my family of 4"
