We had everything we needed, plenty of space, nice kitchen, porch and patio. Right on the beach, quiet. There are nice restaurants around, but cooked at home a lot, including the outdoor grill. "Glenn was a very gracious host and the rental was everything we expected and MORE! The pool was amazing and we appreciated that we could use the BBQ. The cabana was very clean and comfortable and it didn’t take long at all for it to feel like home. We also met Brad, the amazing peacock, and he entertained us for hours. "This was the perfect little space for our family. The cottage has a nice size bedroom for my husband and myself and the 2 teenagers took over the sofa bed. The kitchen was a nice size and the bathroom had a very nice large shower. We spent most of our time at the local beaches (just a short drive) and exploring the area. The art district was a very easy walk with some nice little shops! The hosts and their family were absolutely wonderful!"

"Location was great. It is within 2/3 miles of every restaurant you might want. After a couple weeks, we learned how to get around without using New Haven. The TV and internet were excellent. Small, but good for the two of us. Stove and fridge were a nice convenience. Property owners provide all necessities prior to and during stay. I would give it a 5 star, but mattress and doors need replacement as well as some window treatments."

"This place was adorable and perfect for what we were looking for. We were able to catch the sunrise each morning with a short walk across the street. The area of beach across the street was never busy, and there is a surf shop half a block away. We will be coming back."

"This is a renovated 1920's home. Gorgeous wood floors, updated kitchen, lots of space in the house. None of the windows can be opened, seemed to be nailed shut. The bathroom was roomy and updated. Good hot water. It could use a fresh coat of paint and fresh caulk in some areas. The tub was very slow to drain. I was standing in ankle deep water while showering.
