Outdated Facilities: The roof appears to have been neglected for years, and the overall condition of the facilities is poor. 2. Worn-out Bedding: The bed linens were old and tattered, making for an uncomfortable sleep. 3. Unpleasant Odor: The room smelled damp and musty, reminiscent of an old, poorly ventilated house. 4. “Our stay in The Coast hotel was really amazing. The staff are really nice and accommodating to our needs. The hotel itself is amazing with a pool and beach access. The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back if we get the chance.”

“The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!”
