"Overall, this is a clean and well-run hotel with the exception of my room. The room has been partially remodeled and looks nice while some parts look really outdated, cheap and dirty. There was hair in my sink and tub and mold around the drain that looks like it had been building up for awhile. There’s no way the bathroom had been cleaned before I arrived in my room. If they will cut corners cleaning the bathroom, made me wonder where else they cut corners in cleaning. The food was good, however. We ate at the cafe, the outdoor restaurant and got snacks from the bar while poolside. All great food. Poolside service was promised but nearly non-existent. We had to ask for a server every day. I think maybe they are understaffed. The location is good if you want to be a little out of the busier parts of Ft Lauderdale so I liked that. And there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Finally, the website states that self-parking is free but the hotel informed us upon arrival that self-parking was the same cost as valet which makes no sense. I’ve never been to a hotel or self parking in valet is the same price. When I mentioned this to the person who checked me in, she didn’t even respond to me and so that’s why I never mentioned the bathroom issue. I felt that she wasn’t gonna be responsive to that issue, they certainly weren’t gonna be responsive to my bathroom issue so I said nothing. "

"Hotel was clean with friendly efficient staff. Stayed one night in advance of our cruise. Many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Only negative was shuttle service from airport we had an hour wait and I made quite a few calls to determine the status. Other than that issue all good."

"Was told we could check in early and pay an extra fee, but when we got there to check in we had to wait 5 hours before we could check in also, the restaurant inside was wayyyy overpriced."

"There us a small refrig and coffee but no microwave and very little space for clothes outsude the suitcase. Generous suze rokm amd patio though. There is no restaurant but tgere is a coffee shop on the first level."

"Didn't get breakfast cuz I slept till 9:30 and it ended at 9:00 but all in all it was an excellent place to stay! Close to the highway with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The young lady who checked us in was fantastic! Very courteous and friendly..we visit the Fort Lauderdale area quite frequently and now we definitely know that from now on we'll be staying there!"

"Check in process was terrible. They’d given our oceanfront balcony room away and tried to pass off a no balcony, side room off on us. They have 1 beach/pool chair for "
