“Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations.……

“We enjoyed our room, comfortable, clean, had everything needed for a great couple of days. Lovely view from balcony. We missed getting to enjoy breakfast but understand that staff needs time off. Kimberly was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.”

“Room was very nice, shower was excellent. There was a little miscommunication on the checking procedure, but that was corrected. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.”
