“My husband and I specifically made a 3 night reservation at the Kit Carson Lodge over the 4th of July weekend because we were told by an employee over the phone that the room included a microwave and a fridge, plates and cutlery That was not true. We arrived with multiple perishables and cooked food, o find out, upon arrival, that there were neither plates & cutlery NOR a microwave NOR a fridge. That was a very disappointing start of the weekend. Our food had to be kept at room temperature ……

The location couldn’t be better—right next to a restaurant and just across the street from the chair lifts, which made getting on the mountain incredibly convenient. Check‑in was a breeze; you simply go to the main lobby at the resort and they take care of everything.The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed.
