“Our “glamping” weekend with family was wonderful. There was a beautiful beach nearby which we took advantage of while we were there. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Didn’t feel like camping with all the accommodations. Danny was a great host and readily available. I would highly recommend this little gem in the woods!!”

“We are used to backpacking into the wilderness for adult camping but we wanted to camp with the kids and weren't sure they were quite ready for a full week of pack-in pack-out camping, plus we wanted to get out of our own tourist town. This camper was the perfect solution, and Chocolay RV Campground, where it was placed, was centrally located. The campground was quiet, clean, and in an austere and gorgeous pine barrens area just outside of Marquette. I plan on visiting this place MANY times. We……

“My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only……
