In general the staff and food service is outstanding, the hotel is old but looks great. My complaint is about the cleaning service of the rooms, in five days they just cleaned the floor one day, the never refill the minibar, and the worst is that I always left the “do not disturb” sign, every single day they knock the door at 8am, the first day I asked to one of them “do not disturb until I left the sign with the clean instructions”, they insisted every single morning. The last day I left the room at 11am and we returned nearly 7pm, they didn’t do any cleaning.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Barceló Reforma is a family friendly hotel, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff were all courteous and professional and is a great value for the cost. I would gladly stay here again on any future trips to CDMX

The hotel is very beautiful and very well maintained. All of the staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. The bar located in the lobby has a pianist and violinist that make your visit very nice. I will definitely choose Barceló on my next trip to Mexico!

Avoid the spa. The hotel and restaurants were lovely. The staff was very attentive. They recommended terrific tours. Premium breakfast was wonderful. My only negative experience was at the spa. They have one person that performs all the spa services. She books a few days in advance, so make reservations before your trip if you choose to seek services. Closed on Sunday- weird for a hotel. I got a hair cut and pedicure- they did not apply the premium guest discount advertised. Haircut was fine. Pedicure was extremely unhygienic and mediocre. Nails were jagged and she did not file evenly. Nail polish was old and gummy. She did not have the popular nail polish colors and many unknown brands. Tools were not new- not even sure if she sterilized them between clients. She applied a scrub that burned hours after the service. I ended up removing the polish and re-washing my feet after because I felt so uncomfortable. Very unprofessional pedicure. Would skip the spa.

The staff at this hotel was amazing! Our room was cleaned daily. Very convenient location. It was walking distance to a lot of restaurants and monuments. Only thing I didn’t like was the pool area. Very small and shallow.
