“Stayed one night as was in Thurso for work. Beautifully decorated old building. Entire place was absolutely emaculate. Two stunning lounge areas which wouldnt look out of place in a palace. Loads of books, great sofas. Bed very comfy (loved the clan bedspread, excellent touch), sink in the room too which was a pleasant bonus (booked shared bathroom) Bit of an old-school toilet, as you'd expect, so be careful there. Very peaceful place, had a great night sleep. Breakfast great, the options are ……

“Such lovely people! The landlady waited for me to arrive. I was given a room upgrade. Clean room, lovely shower with jets to massage my back and for breakfast the bacon stood out.. The fatty bit was perfectly crispy (how I like it) and tgere was even greek yoghurt for my muesli. Definitely will recommend !”

“The room was very clean. Was a nice touch having biscuits on the tea tray. The staff were excellent. Special shout out to Michelle who made sure our stay was special. The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit available. The hot stuff was good to perfection. We did have evening meals aswell which were also excellent and a great choice and really good value. Parking was available and if the car park was full, there is availability on the street”

“Kayce was amazing. She greeted us and introduced herself- the room was clean and had everything we needed- fresh flowers. The dinner we ordered was excellent and to order the best meal we had on our trip so far. Everything was locally sourced and made by Kayce herself. She was literally just a text message away.
